Dee Hopkins is an explorative, contemporary, expressionist visual artist.

She works with colour and form influenced by her life experiences and inner emotions.  Her work reflects disrupted interpretations of the natural world and everyday life – finding meaning in the familiar. 

She enjoys creating work using mixed media, mark making, textures and uses less traditional tools and materials to create painterly effects. 

Born and raised in Ireland, Dee worked in the Middle East before calling Australia home since 1990.  Dee works in her art studio –Allambee Art Studio and Little Gallery in Jerrabomberra.
