I have painted three paintings that have a connection with military service. A combat vehicle crewman (CVC) helmet which provides a mounted combatant protection and more importantly, communication with their brothers and sisters. A potted poppy, the flower of remembrance. And a can of brasso that provides a soldier the ability to remove the tarnish from their ceremonial uniform allowing their dress and bearing to be a better reflection of themself.
