I have been making art since a young age (so for over 10 years), when I first began, I focused mainly on sketching and painting but as I have continued to grow as an artist I have branched out into digital and sculptural mediums. I have lived in Canberra my whole life however my parents and sibling (as well as my extended family) has lived and lives in South Africa. I am most known for my focus on body horror and my use of disturbing imagery, themes around this imagery change frequently but a major point of focus for me has been on the dissection of emotions. I am passionate about the telling of stories, getting across the emotions of a piece is very important to me and is something I am constantly working on. Most of my inspiration comes from the media I consume and my in the moment emotions, through this I have made many in the moment ‘midnight paintings’.
