Creativity is an integral part of who I am. I've always been drawn to exploring diverse forms of artistic expression, from painting and gardening to renovating and fashion design. Even as a child, I had a knack for reimagining spaces—rearranging furniture, curating unique wallpapers and fabrics, and championing home improvements (despite occasional parental resistance).
A significant influence in my creative journey has been my mum, whose extensive fabric collection was my treasure trove growing up. At 82, she remains a beacon of creativity and resilience—a kind, strong, dignified person with high standards and an unwavering moral compass. She taught me the importance of staying connected to one's creativity and passed down her love for fashion and dressmaking. By the age of five, thanks to her guidance, my dolls were undoubtedly the most stylish in the city!
Building on my professional experience in residential interior design, procurement within the construction industry, and real estate, I’ve decided to expand my knowledge and expertise in residential, commercial and hospitality design. This career shift reflects my ambition to become a versatile professional while mastering Australian regulations following our recent move 'Down Under.’
My design philosophy merges simplicity and originality with boldness and opulence. I strive to create aesthetically pleasing spaces that are also functional, balanced and harmonious. I love incorporating old and new and using sustainable materials/furniture whenever possible and enjoy introducing dramatic elements through innovative design concepts, luxurious materials, rich textures and vibrant colours to add depth and character. Above all, I prioritise creating well-balanced spaces that enhance the quality of life and exude feelings of happiness and contentment.
