I started formally learning about interior design later in life compared to other students. However, I have always been interested in interior design, especially arranging spaces and matching colours. I also enjoy pairing objects together, following the latest marketing trends and coming up with new ideas. I believe it is never too late for someone to follow their dreams and start studying.
Over the past three years studying at CIT, I have undertaken professional design courses. This has allowed me to be familiar with design element principles, developed my aesthetic ability and improved my design skills.
I don’t think interior design is just a job, it is a passion of mine. I think space rational utilisation can be a feasible solution for limited land resources and different colour solutions can create dramatic visual effects. The combination of all factors that make up design can be achieved by an interior designer and therefore, I look forward to contributing to the design industry in the future.
