I have always been fascinated with how a conceptual artist communicates with an audience and how in response, the viewers' perception, emotion and/or mental understanding can change within that fraction of a moment. It was this beauty and intrigue of a greater unspoken dialogue that lead me to Interior design.
Having come from a finance background I find that my analytical side is still quite strong with function and purpose playing a large part in my design choices. I enjoy the process of creative problem solving through space planning, research and documentation. I would like to delve much further into local and global sustainable practices, historically significant buildings and cultural awareness through the built environment.
