Interior Design to me is a perfect blend of the world of architecture, and the world of visual. I have been drawing since I could hold a pencil in my hand, and have grown up loving visual art and the freedom of creativity that it provides. As I grew older, I found myself drawn to buildings and spaces and how they affect the people and the way we live, and that is when I decided that I wanted to become an interior designer. I have spent the last two years at CIT expanding my knowledge of the principles of design and my skill set, and challenging myself to learn and grow and keep an open mind towards all the incredible possibilities that the world of design holds.
In the future I would love to have my own design business, whether that’s explicitly in interior design or whether I come up with a business that could combine both my creative passions. I would also like to be designing with a strong focus on environmental sustainability.
