Our surroundings influence us in more ways than we are aware of. The places we see, shop, live and work in reflect our lifestyles and who we are.I look forward to joining the industry in becoming a creator of how people function within a space, feel within their environment and view the interior world around them.

With an intense desire to discover, explore and learn about the practice of design, I hope to continually evolve my style, bringing a unique creativity, which is tailored specifically to a brief.
Inspiration is taken from everywhere; designers, textures, spaces and ideas are evolved through discussion and constant development.
I believe it is of the upmost importance that each project is considered in context, creating timeless and sophisticated interiors with a high attention to detail.

I'm originally from the small town of Tumut in NSW. I moved to Canberra to specifically study Interior Design as it has been an interest of mine for as long as I can remember.
I look forward to completing my studies and gaining more experience in the next few years.

"Decoration is really about creating a quality of life, and a beauty in that life that nourishes the soul, that makes life beautiful. That's what all this is about, not just what's in and what's out."  -Albert Hadley

I am graduating with an Advanced Diploma of Interior Design. I have learnt many valuable skills over the past two years, including hand drafting, concept drawings, PSP, FSP, documentation and composing sample boards. I have also gained technical skills in AutoCad, Sketchup, Revit and Photoshop. As part of the exhibition "Boxt" I have crafted a side table. This project has allowed me to work with my hands and learn new skills. By making mistakes and trialling new methods, I have gained insight and appreciation for hand crafted furniture.

I am a regional based designer graduating with an Advanced Diploma in Interior Design. With a background in education and visual arts and a passion for promoting sustainable practices in design, I hope to be able to work with clients to create innovative design solutions that are functional, cost effective and unique.

I have always loved and appreciated many aspects of design. I enjoy creating functional and beautiful pieces, from artwork to furniture. Through the work at CIT, I have gained the knowledge and skills to put designs into practice. Interior design has become a passion of mine and I believe it has a role to play in the way we live and interact in our everyday lives, and I can’t wait to be more involved in it.

I have always loved the idea of design; that someone has thought about and created all of the objects I come across in my day to day life. I want to design functional, attractive spaces using sustainable materials and building methods. I also want to explore the influence space has on feeling and movement and incorporate this into my designs.
