  • Where I see myself in the design industry:

I am graduating with an Advanced Diploma of Interior Design. I have learnt many valuable skills over the past two years, including hand drafting, concept drawings, PSP, FSP, documentation and composing sample boards. I have also gained technical skills in AutoCad, Sketchup, Revit and Photoshop. As part of the exhibition "Boxt" I have crafted a side table.
This project has allowed me to work with my hands and learn new skills. By making mistakes and trialling new methods, I have gained insight and appreciation for hand crafted furniture.

Over the past two years, I have worked part time in a lighting shop, a bespoke Interior firm and a Kitchen firm. I have learnt valuable skills that will further my career in the interior design industry. I have recently completed work placement with an architectural firm in Canberra, gaining new insight and knowledge into heritage conservation and architecture. As I have a strong passion within these areas of design. My plans for the future include more study in building design with the view of working with heritage buildings, retrofits and interior finishes.
